The roofline of a building or dwelling is where the walls of your home meet the roof.
Gutters are attached to a fascia board to collect rain from your roof, and channel it safely through a downpipe and into the drainage system.
Soffits seal the fascia, vents in the soffit give air flow and prevent rot in the roof structure. The roof-line seals the building helping to prevent damp in the brick work.
